Crystal and Jim are planning a September wedding in Mitchell, SD. These two are just so happy and perfect for each other it is so fun to see. We took their engagement photos at two locations that are extremely meaningful to their relationship. The first was at a cattle feedlot where they spend much of their time and spent their entire dating life. Many couples think of a nice date as going to a fancy restaurant. But, for these two, they are completely content with having long conversations in while feeding cattle.
We also took some neat shots as the sun was setting at Jim’s families pasture which overlooks the Missouri river in SD. The view was just breathtaking. And so are their photos!!
Oh how I love cowboy boots! wearing them and photographing too… If you wear some to a shoot I will probably photograph them

This little guy may look familiar if you follow my blog and that is because he is sister’s adorable baby boy! He is so much fun and I enjoy every minute with him. As long as he has a tractor nearby, preferable John Deere, he is the happiest boy on earth.
We even got a few family shots this time too!
Oh, and I got a quick shot of their bull since he was watching the session happen first hand!
This may have been one of my favorite sessions yet! It incorporated so many of my favorite things in life – family, john deere tractors and cattle!
